Battle of the Bourbon Barrels

October 12, 2017 6:30PM - 10:30PM at Sir James Pub

Our 2nd annual battle and blind tasting. This year we’re upping it from 4 bourbon barrel aged stouts to 5, You taste them, rank them, and guess which one is which. (If you guess them all right, you'll get a small prize.) Then we add up the scores and anounce the most palatable/well-liked Barrel Aged Stout!
Our winner last year was New Holland Dragon’s Milk, so we’re excited to see if they maintain their title with the added competition!
The Line Up:
New Holland Dragon's Milk Draft
Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout Draft
Founders KBS Draft
Central Waters Brewers Reserve Stout Draft
?????? (we'll reveal it soon!)
We will also be providing a small snack/palate cleanser to help balance such big brews!

Price will be $20 a person prepaid, $25 for walkins (if we have empty seats...)
Two seatings will be available to choose from: 6:30pm or 8:30pm. Each time slot is limited to 30 spots. Sign ups are now available at the Pub, and times are on a first come, first serve basis.
(If you choose the 6:30pm time slot, we kindly ask that you plan on vacating or moving outside when you are done so that we can seat the next group.)


We will be reserving seats for the tasting to the best of our ability, but we are not positive on how this will work out, so we ask for your patience and cooperation as we figue it out.
