Beer Fire Poking with Strange Land Brewery

Let’s WARM UP by taking an ice-cold beer and jamming a burning fire iron into it at the Glass Half Full, shall we?

Join us Wednesday, January 18th where we’ll be tackling winter head on with smoldering fireplace pokers plunged into pints of Strange Land Brewery Beers! THIS IS A REAL THING! WE PROMISE!

Here, we'll be cramming hot rods into Strange Land Brewery's Old North Road, an English Strong Ale Brewed with Vanilla, Rum & Oak which has an 8.9%abv. Strangeland offers “In addition to heat, the red-hot poker adds depth of flavor, caramelizing the malt and imparting a smoky character while giving the beer a creamy mouthfeel.”

You guys- it’ll be just like making s’mores – but it’ll be beer you can drink!
