Beer Women Rock!

Beer Women Rock! - A tap takeover-fest fundraiser for the Cleveland, Ohio based non-profit the Renee Jones Empowerment Center. Women from more than a dozen craft breweries and distributors will be in attendance, each providing a special draft or can offering. "Coraline" a 6% 20 IBU Saison with hibiscus & rose hips, Sterling & Tettnang hops brewed by the Women of Beer Women Rock! and Brick and Barrel will make its debut... Get this fruity, tart and seriously refreshing brew while you can! Participating Breweries include: Great Lakes Brewing Company, Platform Beer Co., Brick and Barrel, Fat Head's Brewery, Sibling Revelry Brewing, New Belgium, Magic Hat, Breckenridge, North Country Brewing Co., Uinta Brewing, Bell's, Original Sin, New Albion Brewing Company, Market Garden Brewery and the Cleveland Brew Bus.Enter to win a New Belgium Cruiser, a Magic Hat Bass Guitar as well as a number of other raffle prizes, brewery & community donated baskets & auction items. All proceeds to benefit the Renee Jones Empowerment Center.Author & Cleveland Brew Bus co-operator Leslie Basalla-McCafferty will be on hand for a book signing & to answer questions regarding her new book "Cleveland Beer: History & Revival in the Rust Belt" . The center defines the disadvantaged as those who have been faced with many adverse challenges, such as poverty, homelessness, teen pregnancy, human trafficking, domestic violence, and drug abuse. The Center's mission is to empower these individuals to advocate for themselves and to improve their quality of life through personal, social, and professional development. RJEC is the only Northeast Ohio 501(c)3 agency committed to providing life coaching and aftercare services to those with the courage to break the human trafficking cycle. Support for the Renee Jones Empowerment Center helps them continue to take a stand against human trafficking locally and globally.
