Buffington's Presents Harvey Brindell & The Tablerockers

May 19, 2018 8:00PM - 11:00PM at BUFFINGTONS

Harvey Brindell & The Tablerockers, one of Portland Oregon's busiest blues bands, has roots that reach all the way back to Harvey's days in Milledgevile. His path took him from Georgia through the midwest where he developed his sound by listening to the Chicago Blues legends he met, and would eventually play with. Harvey traveled the midwest playing at all the major blues venues, hundreds of small clubs, wineries, casinos, and festivals. He's played regularly at The Zoo Bar in Lincoln as well as all of the blues venues that have come and gone in Omaha, Blues On Grand in Des Moines, The Getaway in Topeka, Nightmoves in Kansas City, and The Uptown Grill in Rapid City as well as many others. Harvey has opened shows for Magic Slim & The Teardrops, Shawn Holt and The Teardrops, Bernard Allison, Mighty Joe Young, Jimmy Thackery, Smokin' Joe Kubik, Kilborn Alley Blues Band, JW Jones, Sean Chambers, Corey Stevens, Davina & The Vagabonds, Mike Zito, Dan Treanor's Afrossippi Band, Kevin Selfe & The Tornados, Mitch Kashmar, and Deak Harp. He's played in bands that have backed Chicago legends, Taildragger, Mary Lane and Rockin' Johnny when they were in his area and needed a back up band. One look at Harvey Brindell & The Tablerockers tour schedule confirms their status as an in-demand blues band. But despite all of this, Harvey is still proud to tell people that the first time he ever played live in front of an audience was in a small club in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Harvey is joined by his son Alec Brindell on bass, Tracy Williams from Atlanta on drums, and Georgia harmonica legend Bennie Mobley, and other surprise guests.
