Community Wellness Lecture- Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture

Join us for a lecture by Dr. Laura Varga, DAOM. October 7th, 6:30-7:30pm in our Community Center (back of the whole body department).Dr. Laura D Varga, DAOM has a 6 year Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the highest degree offered in the United States for Licensed Acupuncturists. Since 2009 she has treated many patients with several different types of illnesses in the OCOM clinics, externships, private practice and Duke Integrative Medicine. Dr. Varga will give an introduction and brief history of Oriental medicine and acupuncture and describe what patients can expect from an Oriental Medicine practice. Dr. Varga will lecture with a slideshow for about 45 minutes and leave time for Q&A.;This lecture is free and open to anyone who has an interest in learning more about Eastern medicine.
