CSYP Social at 503w w/Shift Thrift Store

February 11, 2016 6:00PM - 8:00PM at 503W

We're back at 503w for another Social! Last year in February we had a historic thing happen, one of the biggest snow storms to hit the town in recent years also was the same night as our Social at 503w.......but did this kill the event? No! In fact we still had 45 go getters still show, and even one person road a fat bike to the event! Can you say awesome? Yep, our group is just a bit of a different breed. Nothing holds them back, kind of the type of people you want to know eh? 503w is a great story in of itself. Nina Lee's mom owned it as The Dutch Mill for 20 years, then Nina moved back with her boyfriend Rollie. They remodeled it and renamed it 503w (for 503 W. Colorado, their address), however if you look close at the logo their is a hint to the heritage with the vanes of the Dutch Mill still in the logo. Pretty cool stuff. But it doesn't stop there, their mix of traditional American pub food with Korean street food is a major reason to check the place out. They even make their own potato chips! So come in early for dinner or stay late and eat after. They also have a great selection of craft beers that is very unique to 503w and you just won't find many of them anywhere else in the state. So if you're a beer snob, 503w is a place for you. Featured nonprofit is Shift Thrift Store. Shift Thrift Store is a social enterprise existing to enhance the Colorado Springs Community by creating jobs, preserving the environment, promoting community involvement, and raising funds for charitable causes through recycling of household goods.Sponsor opportunities and tables at the event also available, use the "contact us" button on the main page (www.CSYoungProfessionals.com) to reach out to learn about both.
