The Julie Valentine Center has an ongoing need for the items below. These items are used in direct victim services for the child and adult clients seen at the center, the various hospitals we serve, as well for our ongoing support/parenting groups. Thank you for your support!
• Individually packaged snacks: pretzels, goldfish crackers, teddy grahams, baked chips, candy, bottled water, etc. (no peanut butter due to allergies) – These are used in our children’s waiting area as well for all of our groups (parenting, teen groups, etc.)
• Blank recordable dvd’s (used to record our forensic interviews)
• Copy paper
• Office Supplies (Highlighters, legal pads, manila envelopes, 2 pocket red folders, card stock)
• Toilet paper and Kleenex
• Large black trash bags
• Swiffer mop refills
• Gas or grocery gift cards for clients or to purchase any items listed
• New clothing & shoes for adult ER clothes closets (pants, tops, sweat suits, bras, underwear)
• Small to medium size paper gift bags
• Teen Girls Group ideas:
o Lip-gloss or flavored chap stick
o Journals or writing pads & gel pens
o Scented hand lotion, bath gels, body wash, hand sanitizers, etc.
o Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant
o Fuzzy socks
• Teen Boys Group Ideas:
o Hand held squishy balls…footballs, soccer balls etc.
o Writing or doodle pads & gel pens
o Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant
• Adult Survivor Comfort Box Ideas:
o Journals & Nice Pens
o Soft blankets (fleece)
o Scented hand lotion, bath gels, body wash, hand sanitizers, nail polish, etc.
