Descendants of Erdrick is a progressive/metal video game tribute band from Austin, Texas, specializing in (but not limited to) covers of "epic" role-playing/adventure genre games. The band is composed of guitarist/vocalist/front-woman Amanda Lepre, synth-pop keyboardist Emily Thompson, and a progressive-metal/jazz influenced rhythm section featuring bassist Thad Stevens and drummer Jim Watson.

The band’s repertoire covers soundtracks ranging from classic adventure franchises and games such as THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, FINAL FANTASY, CHRONO TRIGGER, SUPER MARIO BROS, and SECRET OF MANA, among others. The name of the band is in reference to the first-ever console JRPG, DRAGON WARRIOR (also known as DRAGON QUEST).

In the true spirit of the role-playing/adventure game, each instrumental "medley" of songs is aimed at telling a story, often using sound effects, ambient vocals, and visuals alongside the instrumentals to establish a mood.

Murder the Stout (Houston, TX)

Houston based Murder the Stout (MTS) formed in 2004. They play progressive Celtic Rock music led by native Scotsman, Hugh Morrison, on lead vocals & squeezebox. Also in the lineup are Neil DuFour, Johnny Rioux, David Schaefer, Marcus Hollar, Jason Bancroft & Pete Sosa. MTS have been compared to a Scottish version of The Pogues, with folk, rock, punk & ska as well as Celtic influences all apparent in their music.

MTS released a 7 track EP in early 2012 to much critical acclaim prompting multiple label interest & multiple award nominations. Work is now on for a 2nd full length studio album, to be produced by Street Dogs' Johnny Rioux, whose recent work includes Flatfoot 56 and Roger Miret & the Disasters. MTS are in demand at most of the nations major Celtic Festivals and tour when their schedule allows.

The Rest of The Guys are a Rock Band from Houston, TX that formed in 2013. The group consists of founding bandmates Raul Menjivar (Vocals,Guitar, etc.), Brandon T. Cane (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard), Matthew Gennaro (Vocals, Bass Guitar), and Andy Cuellar (Drums). They have influences from bands such as The Pixies, Rolling Stones, Weezer, Beck, and Iggy & The Stooges. Their musical styles are primarily hard rock and alternative rock.
