Drink and DIY, the Old Fashioned Way

Join us for an evening of mixology, etching, and the best cheese curds in Madison as we take one of our most popular workshops on the road (again!). We’ll be setting up our supplies in the upstairs party room at The Old Fashioned, where you’ll get to enjoy a private bar and views of the Capitol while learning about their signature cocktail and creating a set of custom-etched glasses!

The staff at the Old Fashioned will share the history of their namesake drink and the variations you may find when ordering around the country. They will then share a mixology lesson and show you tips and tricks for creating the perfect old fashioned. Cheers!

Next, Revel instructors will lead you through the process of customizing a set of sleek old fashioned glasses. After learning the glass etching process you will choose from an assortment of stencils and then etch your chosen designs on your set of glasses.

The Old Fashioned will have drinks and a select menu of snacks available for purchase, including cheese curds, onion strings, chips, fries, popcorn, pickled eggs, and other bar munchies. YUM!
