Diego and Santiago are both piano majors at the acclaimed Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. In his studies, Diego focuses on piano and jazz styles at the academy. In contrast, Santiago is drawn to guitar, singing, and harmonica. Both enjoy the classic rock greats, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, etc. Together, the brothers combine Diego’s jazz background and Santiago’s folk/pop influences with their joint appreciation of the history of singer/songwriters to create a unique sound and style. This past summer, Diego studied Latin Jazz in Puerto Rico while Santiago was awarded a scholarship to the Swannanoa Gathering for Contemporary Folk Week in Asheville, North Carolina.
