From busking on the Las Vegas underground to touring the United States opening for the Cult, Better Than Ezra, Train and Cheap Trick to name a few. Nick fuses his own powerful Pop/Rock songs with the great songs from the past 30 years performed in his own dynamic way.
He's an entertainer, singer & songwriter. He also owns and operates Nick Mattera Productions, a booking agency in Las Vegas. His first adventure into music began at the age of 7 when he started playing guitar. Soon Nick began combining the key elements of his singer/songwriter influences like James Taylor, Tom Petty and Pearl Jam into an approach that brings together his fluent guitar playing, deep singing voice and invigorating improvisation into timeless sounding songs that touch people of all ages.

Having performed countless gigs across the U.S. when he fronted Las Vegas rock band Big Bad Zero (Eureka/Universal) he is now a well-known artist throughout Las Vegas performing solo and playing with different groups. He's very much involved with writing and recording music for commercials & television. You can catch many of his performances around Las Vegas including favorites like the Monte Carlo Resort, The Palms, Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip and many local taverns and restaurants on & off the LV strip.
