Singer and guitarist Jeff Loven has performed at a variety of venues on numerous stages at clubs, universities and festivals, both locally and nationally.

Jeff won two Minnesota Music Awards and was picked by Steve Vai and Steve Morse as winner of Kahler’s International Guitar Competition. He has toured across the United States as guitarist for Obsession and Funhouse, rocked 93X-fest with The Coup De Grace and tore up CBGBs in New York with Crash Street featuring Melvin James. Many people will also remember seeing Jeff perform with The Killawatts and also with KQRS house band The Janitors.

Recently Jeff has enjoyed tremendous success performing as Minnesota’s #1 One Man Band.

The Loven Show combines a winning mix of genres. Jeff plays classic & hard rock, current hits, new country along with the classics, dance hits, a touch of hip hop, blues and also performs his Youtube sensation Heavy Metal Polka. Jeff knows over 300 songs and because he is not locked in to the typical 45 song repertoire of most bands he is able to perform more requests than any band.

Crowd participation is important to Jeff Loven. Whether he is hosting a round of Name That Tune (A ruse he uses to find the musical tastes of his audience), inviting up guests to sit in with the band on cowbell or teaching an entire dance floor a new line dance he always finds ways to connect with his audience .
