Dan Rico:
Dan was raised on the Northside of Chicago listening to Elvis, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Queen. At an early age he showed an adept fondness for singing and dancing and picked up the guitar at age 12. Since he's played in dozens of groups, produced several albums, and toured nationally with several acts including EGO, his current collaborative project.
Minthill:
Minthill is a place. It’s a place where deconstructed tape loops, rescued from dusty cabinets in forgotten old warehouses mingle with part abstract pop and obstruct melody. It’s a place that Angela Saylor knows very well, and for the better part of the last decade she has constructed her own mint hill. Part space odyssey, part femme worship, part spatial relations with the years passed. Minthill is a place where all wild things go to live, and olfactory gets the ever seldom nod of preservation, desolation shines, and chrome is brick.
