What do you get when you harvest and crush the fruits of punk, rock, ska and psychedelic blues and leave them to ferment in a Midwestern suburban basement? A tasteful blend of guitar, bass, vocals and drums we like to call Box Whine. Originally formed by guitarist/singer/songwriter Brett Westcott and drummer Steven Barach....Box Whine started hitting the scene via local parties and garage shows. Guitarist/singer/songwriter Noah Keniley had moved back from Colorado and immediately jumped in to start shaping up what was becoming a new and unique sound. A friend of the band, bassist/guitarist Dave Lauler, was asked to join in on some jam sessions and completed the sound that is now BOX WHINE. Tight, precise musicianship mixed with booming, PBR fueled percussion and guitar riffs, provide high energy live shows that anyone can enjoy. If you haven’t heard of us…give us a listen!
