Katie Buxton has set herself a pretty lofty goal in her music. "I hope to awaken my listeners to their own truths that light them up from the inside. To enable them to think differently and to see themselves in the world and people around them. To help them remember that love is all that exists" she says. Listen to her and it may not seem too far fetched. With plenty of experience sharing stage and respect with some amazing acts Katie is not another young thing with big ideas. Her writing speaks to the heart. She is honest, caring and something that feels like truth in her art. When you listen to her you will be amazed by how she is singing exactly what you also feel!

Oh Great Sea is more a group of souls performing together than it is a group of humans. This "band" at it's core is a musical "collective" started by Alex and Lizzy Hobbs, pouring out the sounds of souls filled with hope. With a folk rock sound that could be in the waves of the ocean and at same time in the mountain breeze the sounds of this band get inside of you and turn your heart on.

Christian Powers is a name you want to remember. After being a staple local musician behind the kit while still in high school Christian has "grown up" to find his own voice as a singer songwriter. When lucky enough to catch him perform it is soon obvious to the listener that he is light years ahead of his peers. Influenced by the coast and his songs wash over you like the waves, sometimes harsh and sometimes a gentle caress. The future of music has it's eye on this young man.

Teresa Rose is a poet that happens to play guitar, and play it well. She has depth in words beyond her years and knows how to work the strings. Maybe it is the '50s bandana she wears or the witty grin, but something about 'Tess' makes you quickly forget she is an artist still relatively early to adulthood.
