Kingsland Folk Club presents The Neil Watson & Frank Gibson Duo

January 22, 2017 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Flight 605

This week, in another edition of the Kingsland Folk Club summer season, we're proud to present the Neil Watson & Frank Gibson duo, with support from Hanna Wiskari.

We had Neil swing by and play a short set during our showcases last year where he completely blew everybody away, but this time he's back as one half of his duo with jazz icon, Frank Gibson. They'll be playing interpretations of folk music from around the world; Sweden, India, Caribbean, America, Liverpool and Scotland, with Swedish saxophonist, Hanna.

Having performed together for over seven years, Neil and Frank have developed a unique and instinctive musical exchange that only time like this could evolve.

This is going to be a pretty awesome collaboration for a summer evening that we can't wait to witness, and we hope to see you there too!
