Add gritty vocals, true life lyricism, catchy riffs, and a solid live band and you get Layden and the Lion. Based out of South Louisiana and Florida this man is sure to impress the listening audience both musically and visually. Heavily influenced by the sounds of Lucero, Against me!, and Alkaline Trio, as well as many other bands/genres blended together to create their sound. Releasing his first 6 song EP “Lost And Lonely With Everything” Layden and the Lion display passion for writing songs that everyone can relate too, whether it be an uptempo feel good song, to a mid tempo lyrically dark song, to a laid back acoustic song about the struggles of day to day life. Layden and the Lion is not trying to reinvent the wheel….. they’re just keeping the wheel rolling.
