Lunar Carnival Plays The Stomping Ground!

Lunar Carnival is led by four free-spirited and versatile musicians. Ages ago, when these musicians came together, it was a magical-musical explosion. The group was originally founded by Vocalists and songwriters Katerina Korolov and Maia Archote with Bassist Daniel Grip. Katerina's songs flow beautifully like a summer breeze, while bassist Daniel Grip provides a foot stopping feel. And while Maia does not regularly perform with the group, her stand-up, knock out harmonies can be heard on the two existing albums. Come to a show and hear the vocals as they are decorated with soaring harmonies among a whirlwind of guitar, cajon, violin, and other musical sounds. Recently two amazing musicians have added to the Lunar mix! Singer, percussionist and instrumentalist Johanna Dun-Jones will light your fire and Alex Korolov will blow you away with his beautiful and professional Mandolin, Violin and anything else in the house stylings!

Their overall style is an eclectic blend of their various musical backgrounds. There are prominent stylistic elements of folk, bluegrass, rock, jazz, and funk, among many others found in their sound, which makes it hard to categorize the band into a certain genre. For now, let's just say they are an original-sounding Bohemian-folk-trio playing music from the heart, for those who want to feel.
