Mason Summit

Mason Summit is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Since age 13, he has been playing around L.A. at venues such as Genghis Cohen, Molly Malone’s, The House of Blues, and Hotel Café. Mason’s debut album, Absentee, was released in 2012. Absentee is an eclectic collection of songs influenced by Elliott Smith, Buddy Holly, and the Beach Boys. Since 2013, Mason has Mason’s Noise Parlour, a quarterly series at Beyond Baroque in Venice, CA to present the talent of other teen musicians and writers. In November 2014, Mason released his second solo album, Loud Music & Soft Drinks, as well as an E.P. with his duo, The Clowns Will Eat Me. Mason’s third album, Gunpowder Tracks, was released in September 2016, and has garnered comparisons to Wilco and Ryan Adams, as well as KCRW airplay on Valida’s The Lab. Mason is currently a student at the USC Thornton School of Music.
