Meetup—Getting Railroaded In Wake County

July 26, 2017 7:00PM - 9:00PM at Oak & Dagger Public House

If anybody knows "Who will build the roads?" It is Julie Tisdale, City and County Policy Analyst and Research Manager with the John Locke Foundation. While sly politicians sell big projects like P.T. Barnum sells Feejee Mermaids, Ms Tisdale is getting to the bottom of important questions about the impact of these projects on local taxpayers. Join the Wake County Libertarians in an enlightening and engaging discussion about the Wake Transit System and the billions of dollars getting run out of town on a rail.

Check out the biggest affiliate of the coolest political party in North Carolina (not to mention the fastest-growing party in Wake County). Libertarians aspire to protect all of your rights, all of the time. Have questions about how we might go about that? Come on by any Wednesday night at the Oak & Dagger…worst case, there’s great food and beer!

This week’s meetup host is David Ulmer, WakeLP chair. Ms. Tisdale’s presentation is scheduled to start at 7:30—come early, get a good seat, and order food and drink!—and will also be webcast via our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULeUNQkzBq0
