Join us on Sunday, April 30th and for Walpurgisnacht [valˈpʊʁɡɪsˌnaχt] Also known as "Witches’ Night". This day is always exactly 6 months after Samhain and it is believed that on these two nights the veil between the worlds separating the living and the dead - the seen and the unseen thins; allowing devils, demons and witches to mingle openly among us as they travel to their meeting places.

Our objective for this event is to raise money for Death and The Maiden (a group devoted to examining the relationship between women & death by sharing ideas & creating a platform for discussion and feminist narratives. They hope to create a supportive and inclusive community, and to amplify the voices of those actively creating the future of death) and Planned Parenthood. All generous donators will receive a raffle ticket that we will hold at the end of the movie.

Sarah is a museum curator and writes and recreates historical and cultural recipes for Nourishing Death; which examines the relationship between food and death in rituals, culture, religion and society. Sarah also co-founded Death & the Maiden with death scholar and author, Lucy Coleman Talbot. She has been featured in Vibe, Dazed, Mic, and Marie Claire.
