Oklahoma Repeal Day Celebration with CBAO

April 07, 2016 5:00PM at Bricktown Brewery

Oklahoma was one of the last states to repeal Prohibition, doing so on April 7th, 1959. We'll celebrate the 57th anniversary of this event by holding a Call To Action and Voter Registration Drive, and will be joined by representatives from the Craft Brewers Association of Oklahoma. Legislators from across the state will be invited to mingle and hear from brewery representatives, and from you, the public, about the need for Oklahoma craft beer law modernization. There will be a voter registration booth for any unregistered attendees. Additionally, LOCAL - League of Oklahomans for Change in Alcohol Laws will be here to help answer your questions about the ins and outs of SB383, SJR68, and more, and will have membership sign-ups available. All afternoon (and night), we'll be pouring Collaboration For Legislation, the extremely tasty low-point pale ale brewed as a joint effort between EIGHT Oklahoma breweries. All proceeds from CFL Pale Ale go to fund CBAO's efforts for legislative change. So, come drink, discuss, get political, get active, and help us bring Oklahoma's alcohol laws into the 21st Century! Free The Taps!
