On the Table in Uptown Columbus

The On the Table forum is designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and inspire collaborative action across the region. On a single day, Tuesday, November 7, residents of Columbus and the surrounding areas are invited to share a meal and discuss not only what’s great about our community, but also ways to make it even better — more sustainable, just, safe, strong and vibrant. That’s what On the Table is all about. Your voice matters, let it be heard!

Dinner will be provided but guests are encouraged to bring an appetizer for up to 12 people to share and their own beverage; beverages will also be for purchase (non-alcoholic and alcoholic).

During dinner guests will participate in topics of conversation involving the following questions:
What would you like to see in Uptown in the next year, 3 years, 5 years, etc.?
What big ideas do you have for our community and how can we put those ideas into action?
What/whom are we missing within our community?
What is Uptown Columbus doing well?
Where can we improve?
