Repeal Day Party feat. Rollie Tussing

December 05, 2016 5:32PM - 11:00PM at Grand River Brewery

Grand River Brewery will be closing at 4:00 and reopening at exactly 5:32 on December 5th to a host a restaurant-wide party in honor of Repeal Day!

On December 5th, 1933, the 21st Amendment to the US Constitution was ratified, thereby repealing the 18th Amendment, which banned the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcohol.

We'll be celebrating this momentous occasion with a limited prohibition era menu, cocktails, bar specials, and an exclusive prohibition ale. Live music will be provided by award winining guitarist Rollie Tussing!

Additionally, we will be having a "prohibition era" costume contest, so come out, dress up, tie one on!

Tickets are $10 and include one complimentary cocktail. They can be purchased over the phone, or directly from the bar at GRB!

About Rollie Tussing: His raggedy brand of music is informed by the era of 78 rpm records, juke-joints, and street performers. He composes a lot of his own songs and has a knack for re-working an old obscure tune, finding beauty in the forgotten scratches, pops and grooves of his esoteric record collection.
