Sharkk Heartt performs

Sharkk Heartt is the electronic-pop project from songwriter Lara Ruggles, incorporating vocal loops & samples to create immersive, slowly-building arrangements that surround understated anthemic hooks. Before moving back to her hometown, writing a collection of new songs, and assuming Sharkk Heartt as her stage name, Ruggles released the albums "Out of an Eggshell" and "Cynics & Saints", completed a dozen US tours, recorded a Daytrotter session, and won the Colorado Creative Industries Career Advancement Award. Most recently she has opened for LeAnn Rimes and toured with activist and poet Andrea Gibson. Sharkk Heartt celebrates inclusiveness, vulnerability, and fierce-hearted activism.
