Social Media and Politics: #smcstl On Tap Series

November 02, 2016 5:30PM - 7:00PM at Kirkwood Station Brewing Co.

The role of social media in politics is extraordinary. It deserves our attention.

Let's get together and talk/learn about what social media does well and what it could do even better to promote engagement in the political process. Local professionals are using social media to mobilize the vote, to become educated about issues, and to share or better understand their candidate's positions.

Join us for a lively, nonpartisan discussion about the role social media plays in the current political environment. Panelists will include representatives from various political positions and the conversation will center on the role social media has and will play in this year's elections.

Panelists: Tony Zebrowski and Adam Kustra, Mobilize Missouri
Ruben Schuckit, President, Wash U College Republicans
Panel Moderator: Jen Nahlik

This event costs $5 and will include one drink at the bar. Light appetizers will also be provided.
