Graham Weber begin's his new monthly Songwriter Series at South Austin Brewery. Weber will be joined by fellow troubadours Colin Gilmore and Adam Traum for a show at South Austin Brewery. Traum and Gilmore recently played San Francisco with their legendary fathers Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Happy Traum for the first time. Having never met or heard each other, they instantly clicked onstage and decided to keep the musical tradition going. Weber, a noted songwriter in his own right, has collaborated with Gilmore in the CBGBand and sparked the idea for this show. "This is not just a 'song-swap'," Gilmore states. "The goal is to bring each other's songs to life."
This will be the first installment of The South Austin Songwriter Series at South Austin Brewery. Each month Weber will invite two other songwriters from around the country to perform and talk about thier songs in the new listening room at South Austin Brewery. In an effort to rekindle a tradition that has gone by the wayside, this series aims to highlight the songwriter and the songs that they give life to.
Doors at 7pm. Show at 7:30pm. South Austin Songs paired expertly with South Austin Beer.
