St. Paul & the Broken Bones with North Mississippi Allstars

June 25, 2018 7:00PM - 10:00PM at Village Station

The first concert in the Sun Valley Center for the Arts Summer Concert Series for 2018 features St. Paul and The Broken Bones with special guest North Mississippi Allstars. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, and led by vocalist Paul Janeway, St. Paul & the Broken Bones is an eight-piece soul-based rock band. Frequently compared to Otis Redding and backed by an incredible band with a horn section, Janeway’s irrepressible stage presence will have the Sun Valley Pavilion crowd up and dancing all night. No stranger to big stages, St. Paul & the Broken Bones have played Coachella and even opened for the Rolling Stones. As Janeway said, “It was pretty neat, it was pretty crazy. I love the Rolling Stones, but my train of thought is, you gotta try and blow ‘em off the stage. And that’s still my goal.”

Opening the night will be the North Mississippi Allstars, a trio based in Hernando, Mississippi. With brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson in the lead, this southern rock and blues band will get the summer concert series off to a rollicking start.
