Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Alamo Drafthouse

December 14, 2017 6:00PM - 11:59PM at Bear Vs Bull

**Tickets on sale Monday, October 9th**

This December, Alamo Drafthouse will once again be filled with the crackle of lightsabers, the awe-inspiring grandeur of starship battles, and the continuing story of a galaxy far, far away. . . .

It’s time for some answers. Why did Luke Skywalker abandon his friends for the mysterious planet Ahch-To? Who are Rey’s parents? How will the evil Supreme Leader Snoke’s training further corrupt the former Ben Solo, Kylo Ren? Will reluctant hero Finn continue to fight the good fight? How cute are these Porgs?

And who is the last Jedi?

In STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, visionary writer/director Rian Johnson (BRICK, LOOPER) picks up right where J.J. Abrams left off in THE FORCE AWAKENS, and frankly, we don’t need to know much more than that. New heroes, new planets, new adventures, crafted by one of the most respected filmmakers alive, and starring the intergenerational of our dreams.

We can’t wait -- and with collectibles available with tickets from Mondo and Birth. Movies. Death., a special keepsake die-cut menu (while supplies last) stacked with items to satisfy scruffy nerf-herders of all appetites, an intergalactic ad-free preshow extravaganza, and lots of in-theater surprises… well, you’ve gotta see THE LAST JEDI at Alamo Drafthouse.

Merchandise available only while supplies last, only with tickets to STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, and only through Alamo Drafthouse locations, drafthouse.com, and the latest edition of the Alamo app for iOS and Android.

What time are tickets going on sale?
Sorry, we can’t tell you. Patience, young Jedis!

How will ticket purchasing work online?
When tickets go on sale nationwide, visitors to drafthouse.com and users of the Alamo Drafthouse app for iOS and Android will be prompted to enter a virtual line.

Why are you doing a virtual line?
Unprecedented demand for tickets to THE FORCE AWAKENS caused some hiccups (to put it lightly) across the internet. The virtual line system, which we tested last year for ROGUE ONE, is a buffer that should alleviate strain on drafthouse.com and allow as many people as possible to get tickets.

So how’s the virtual line work?
Your place in line will update as you move closer and closer to the front. While you’re waiting, you’ll be able to browse theaters and showtimes, and see previews of the current seating chart to plan which showtime is best for you. When you get to the front of the line, the website or mobile app will behave normally. At that point, just purchase your tickets as you normally would.

How long will it take for me to get tickets online?
Each Alamo Drafthouse market will have their own line, with access to each theater in that market. There’ll be one common line for both 3D and 2D formats. In some markets the numbers might seem high, but the more locations in your market, the more shows, and the more seats that’ll be available. We’ll get you tickets, promise.

So when can I plan on joining the virtual line?
The virtual line will start to form right as tickets go on sale.

But when do tickets go on sale?
See answer #1.

How do I purchase Mondo and Birth.Movies.Death merchandise?
Merchandise available only while supplies last, only with tickets to STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, and only at Alamo Drafthouse box office locations, drafthouse.com, and the latest edition of the Alamo app for iOS and Android.

I purchased my tickets without the merch, but I’d really like to get them now -- what should I do?
Contact your theater as soon as possible via drafthouse.com/theaters -- include your ticket confirmation details and a phone number that’s best to reach you. Quantities may be limited as we get closer to the release, so the sooner you do this, the better.

I finally got through and now there’s no tickets available for the date or time I wanted.
It’s true, those first shows are highly in demand. Between now and the opening we may be able to open up more shows and more seats. Stay tuned.

Can I book a private screening of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI for my employees/family/friends?
You sure can, but spots are filling up fast. Head over to drafthouse.com/venue-rental and reach out to our private and community events team.

What if there’re problems with the site?
If we see problems with site performance we’ll update you as soon as we can via our social media channels, particularly @drafthouse on Twitter.
