Terroir 001: starter

Terroir New Music, in collaboration with c.1949, is proud to present a special evening of new music by local composers paired with local craft beers.

The title for this concert, “starter” alludes to the culture needed to start the fermentation process of many foods and alcohols (such as sourdough bread, or solera-aged liquors). We find it fitting, as this concert is the “starter” for what we hope is many awesome concerts, seasons, and collaborations for years to come.

Featuring music by Zachary Hale, Sean Hamilton, Susanna Hancock, G. Blake Harrison-Lane, Tyler Kline, and Baljinder Sekhon.

C.1949 will be open 4 PM to 1 AM the day of this event. "Doors" for this event open at 7:00 PM. Music begins at 8:00 PM. Beer flights will be served in groups of three; the concert will feature two parts with a brief intermission for refilling purposes. The concert will take place in c.1949’s outdoor patio area, so be ready to enjoy some new music and craft brews in the beautiful Florida twilight!

Price of ticket includes admission to the concert, plus a specially curated flight of six beers. Each featured beer has been selected to correspond with a piece of music on the program, and is meant to be enjoyed alongside that piece while it is being performed. All ages are welcome; if you are under 21, ticket price includes two complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. Kids age 10 and under get in for free.
