THC Presents: Homesick Hitchers Farm2Bar at The Holding Company OBThe Homesick Hitchers play a mix of traditional-sounding bluegrass songs with tinges of jam, jazz, funk, folk, old-time and rock. Their self-titled album was released in fall of 2013 and is entirely original material written by all the members of the band - Brent Gutzweiller (banjo), Jeff Clemetson (bass), Tyler TenBrock (mandolin, guitar) and John Blackwood (guitar, dobro). Since that time, the band has been working on its followup album and has played shows all over San Diego County. The Homesick Hitchers' unique sound is also catching on outside of the band's native beach towns. In 2015, the band played at the Lost Sierra Hoedown in the Lake Tahoe area and was asked back in 2016.The Homesick Hitchers always aim to make its live show an all-out party that will leave you with a smile on your face and in need of a foot massage.
