The Khalif Neville Trio Plays The Stomping Ground!

Khalif Neville is originally from New Orleans, being a member of the 'First Family of Funk', the Nevilles, which include legends such as, Aaron Neville, the Neville Brothers, The Meters and Dumpstaphunk. His father, Charles Neville, has been playing around the world for decades, but particularly in this area for the past 20 years. Studying with him from a young age, he received a world class musical education from home, and for the past 4 years he's been putting that education to use by playing, recording, and writing music all over the New England area. His latest configuration is the Jazz Funk Trio, which consists of the great Japanese bassist, Hiroyuki Shido on Bass, an amazing Umass Amherst graduate Ian Haus on drums, and Khalif on Keys. They've recently played the Lounge In Brattleboro VT, The Bing Arts Center in Springfield Mass, The Academy Of Music in Northampton Ma, and The Arts Block in Greenfield.
