Every month The Mission Position brings the best comedians to the Alamo Drafthouse theater for a live comedy show that provides club-level talent without a drink minimum. Hosted by two of San Francisco’s best comedians, Adrian McNair and Irene Tu (featured on Viceland, KQED, Seeso, SF Sketchfest and Bridgetown Comedy Festival).

Doors at 8:30pm, show starts at 9pm!

NATASHA MUSE:
Natasha Muse is like the C3P0 of San Francisco comedy: a bunch of small bears once mistook her for a golden god but in reality she’s a bumbling robot (as well as a mom, a transsexual, and a firm agnostic). The SF Weekly once declared her a “Comedian to Watch” in 2014, and in 2016 they upgraded her to an “Artist to Watch.” Natasha features at the SF Punchline and Cobb’s Comedy Club, and has worked with such comedy luminaries as Maria Bamford, Roseanne Barr, Janeane Garofalo, Wyatt Cenac, and God. Natasha’s comedy is so good, it’s not even funny.

ANDREW OROLFO:
If life wasn't hard enough, this college drop out decided it was time to put down the books and pick up a struggle. Being a first generation American to Filipino parents, the idea of stand up as a profession, was met with disdain and heated arguments. But After a few years of hitting stages, Andrew has now become a staple in the San Francisco comedy scene, performing at the local shows and comedy clubs. He has been featured in the SF Sketchfest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Currently, he produces one of the best monthly comedy showcases in the Bay Area. A free comedy showcase inside a fresh and swanky barber shop. His parents are proud now.

JOEY AVERY:
After starting his career in Cape Town, South Africa Joey Avery received the Jimmy Gunn award for Best Newcomer to the Bay Area comedy scene in 2014, and landed a top 10 video on Reddit. Since his arrival he has become a paid regular at every major club in San Francisco and several others around the Bay Area. Joey has appeared on Fox, NBC, and AJ+ as well as in the San Francisco Sketchfest Comedy Festival and the San Diego Sun God Music and Arts Festival.
