The (Not) Beer Dinner 112 - B Nektar Meadery

This month Joe Apa is offering a spring dinner designed to pair with the amazing meads & ciders from the B Nektar Meadery. These selections have wine- like complexity & character while offering a much wider variety of flavors.

B. Nektar Meadery, which is brand new to Texas, was founded in 2006 in Michigan by Brad and Kerri Dahlhofer, with the help of their good friend Paul Zimmerman. The strong sub-pop cultural influence is seen in the imaginative labeling of the different selections. This month Rudz is featuring:

Apple Pi - golden apple mead with spices
The Dude's Rug - dark apple cider with chai spices
Zombie Killer - hard cider & honey (cyser) with tart cherries
Tuco-style Freakout - orange blossom honey & lime mead
NecroMangoCon - mango & black pepper mead
