The Sharrows brand of music, "farm rock", references their musical mecca, the rural barn studio where they craft music. Their grungy folk vibe is driven by booming drum thumps, heavily picked bass lines, slashing guitars, and majestic keyboards, adding beef to their bluesy saunter.

While on tour in 2014, the Wisconsin roots-rockers made a stop at Zebra Ranch Studios in Coldwater, Mississippi, to record the EP 'Days of Yore' and most recently a full length album 'Gold Key to the City'. On the road often, the band has frequently been opening for national acts, providing support at The High Watt in Nashville to a sold out crowd with Wild Child and playing SXSW 2015, as well as making a wave in their native Midwest region. Highlights of such include shows at classic Chicago venues such as Schuba’s and The Hideout, along with a sold out performance supporting Tedeschi Trucks Band at The Orpheum Theatre in the band’s hometown of Madison.
