Tuesdays are our weekly wine tastings and this one we are super excited about! We will have 5 wines from the iconic La Rioja Alta winery! If you love spanish wine and haven't had a chance to experience these you don't wanna miss this! This past year they celebrated 125 years of making wines and they are still producing amazing quality wines that are both drinkable now and ageworthy.
The tasting for the 5 wines is 10$ and if you would like to take any bottles home you recieve 15% off each bottle!

Our lineup includes 1 white and 4 reds:

2015 Lagar D Cervera Albarino: 100% Albarino
Yellow with green hues; clean and bright. It stands out for its great aromatic intensity. Marked notes of stone fruit (apricots) and white fruit (ripe apples, pears and quince) against a background of tropical fruit (pineapples). Powerful and buttery in the mouth, with a pleasant sensation of freshness. Very persistent aftertaste; complex and well balanced.

2013 Finca San Martin Rioja Crianza: 100% Tempranillo
Medium-depth, cherry-red, with a pink rim; clean and bright. High aromatic intensity, with prevailing notes of ripe fruit, strawberries and redcurrants against a balsamic, aniseed, liquorice and cedar background from painstaking barrel ageing. Well-balanced in the mouth, with a pleasant structure and fine tannins leading to a fresh, agreeable finish. Lovely final aftertaste, with a background of ripe fruit and liquorice reinforcing the typical characteristics of this Rioja Alavesa wine.

2010 Vina Alberdi Reserva : 100% Tempranillio
Deep, ripe cherry red, with a clean, bright pink rim. Expansive nose, with dominating ripe red fruit, currants and liquorice, rounded off with sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, jam and spices. The wine is particularly well-balanced, with a smooth, elegant entry, medium body and sweet, tasty tannins. Ripe fruit, herbs, vanilla and caramel come together to mark a pleasant, agreeable finish.

2007 Vina Ardanza Reserva: 80% Tempranillo 20% Garnacha
Outstanding, medium-high depth, dark-cherry red with an intense pinkish rim. Very intense to the nose, with outstanding spicy aromas of black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla enveloping fine notes of red berries. In the mouth, we enjoy a pleasant structure, balanced acidity and delicate, enveloping tannins. Broad finish, with a round, elegant aftertaste.


2011 Aster Crianza Ribera Del Duero : 100% Tinta Del Pais
Intense dark cherry red; very clean and bright, with a lively ruby-red rim. The nose uncovers intense notes of wild berries and ripe fruit enveloping a rich balsamic core of sweet spices, cocoa, liquorice and mild herb scents. Impressively strong in the mouth, with nerve, a delicate acidity and good balance. Soft, tamed, round tannins give this wine the imprint of Ribera del Duero.
