We are thrilled to present the film with a Mexican-inspired menu created by our executive chef Ronnie New, with drink pairings from beverage director Vincent Favella.
An early film by director Alfonso Cuarón (GRAVITY, CHILDREN OF MEN) starring Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna, Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN is the story of Julio and Tenoch, seventeen year olds who have had a long friendship despite their different backgrounds. Bidding farewell to their traveling girlfriends, the sex-obsessed duo are thrilled when they meet the older Luisa. Facing a crucial moment in her life, Luisa is game to drop everything and drive with the boys in search of Boca del Cielo, a remote beach of their invention. The ensuing road trip is filled with drunkenness, chance encounters and bad sex. A smash-hit when it was released in 2002, Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN has been somewhat overshadowed by the later successes of Cuarón, García Bernal and Luna, but remains one of the best films in each of their careers.
