Refreshingly light character with a higher than normal carbonation level. Straw-colored and cloudy from the unfiltered yeast left in suspension. Notes of banana and clove with a slight bready malt flavor.
Formerly the second in our LÄCTOBÄC series of lactobacillus-soured beers, Roselle is infused with hibiscus flowers at flame-out, lending the beer a sharper tartness, floral and citrus aromas/flavors, and a red hue.
A harmonious blend of mead and beer, with the distinctive characteristics of both. A wide range of results are possible, depending on the base style of beer, variety of honey and overall sweetness and strength. Beer flavors tend to somewhat mask typical honey flavors found in other meads.
Bourbon Barrel Buffalo Sweat is the second barrel-aged release from Tallgrass Brewing Co. We took our award-winning oatmeal cream stout and aged it in bourbon barrels to create a rich, complex, medium-bodied beer with a chocolate-espresso flavor and aroma, and warm bourbon undertones.
