Duchessa is a traditional style Saison from craft brewers Birra Del Borgo. An eye catching golden hue sets up the very broad nose, filled with fruit and floral aromas with hints of pepper spice. A good, balanced body with slight acidity makes for a pleasing, refreshing finish.
Despite his bitterness, lack of power and insuperable aversion to any kind of extravagant labor - he kind of has a charming charisma, and perhaps he is even loveable. Somehow we find him unbelievable irresistible and stimulating because he is one of the few that masters the ability to effortlessly impress with his sharp intelligence and make it look so damn easy.
Bringing down the Farmhouse! Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing. 7.5% ABV. 35 IBU’s.
“26” is a Northwest take on a European classic and features intense aromas of pine and spice with citrus notes and is supported by a medium body, dry malty palate, and is balanced with a long, clean, herbal hop finish,” said Full Sail’s Executive Brewmaster Jamie Emmerson.
ORABELLE is brewed with barley, wheat, oats, and rye. This Belgian-Style Tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel and dash of coriander impart surprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale.
The early brewers touted the health benefits of the milk sugar in this beer which today relates mainly to the increased amount of calories(no real health benefits…sorry). The milk sugar adds a well rounded sweetness to this dark beer and makes it an outstanding, year ‘round stout.
Old Chub is a celebration of malts. The cola-colored beer features a dense, tawny head, a creamy mouthful and flavors of caramel, chocolate and lightly roasted malt. Complex and rich, it finishes with a whisper of smokiness that calls to mind a fine single malt scotch.
Hans is crisp, brightly hoppy and full of flavor. At 50 ibu's and featuring Tettnang hops, its even hoppier than many pale ales. The German malt helps create a nice pale golden color and provides the perfect companion for the hops.
To see the hop cone up close, we zoomed in microscopic, and found a hi-res view. In Hi-Resolution, the hop optic was magnified; our perception, fully amplified. It's microscopic. It's telescopic. It's off-topic. It's Mad Science.
They say Spring is a time for new beginnings. No idea who “they” are, but they’re right about the new part. Get ready to get low with HASH SESSION IPA, a groovy 4.2% ABV session IPA loaded with a gigantic Amarillo hop hash dry hop.
Blood oranges and Mandarina Bavaria hops seamlessly complement one another in this saison providing aromatic notes of citrus and bright, juicy flavors. The addition of pink peppercorns amplifies the spicy notes imparted by the saison yeast while balancing the beer’s natural sweetness and dry finish.
Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.
Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without border’ pale ale is an homage to you - the global hipster. Cheers!
A medium-bodied, malt-accented dark brew, deep-sepia in color, with a chewy texture and a firm, creamy, long-lasting head. Despite its dark color, its a soft and elegant brew that is rich, mild, and surprisingly balanced.
Prairie Flare! Flare (yes, that’s how we are spelling it) is our gose that we have added citrus fruit to. This beer is slightly tart, a little salty, and has a nice balance from the fruit and spices. (Orange and Coriander)
