Though the city would not let us show it , the restaurant / bar and bathrooms are constructed out of old shipping containers that were said to have traveled the seas between Hamburg and the USA before being retired. They were picked up in the Martinez area and trucked to their new home. They were then fabricated and added to make Der BierGarten a unique place for locals and visitors to enjoy.
Der BierGarten has over 30 beers on draft and is bike friendly with over 30 bike spots. We also welcome your well behaved pets, but we reserve the right to revoke that privilege at any time. Pet owners will be held responsible for their pets at all times.
