Balance is what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.
Galactica, a hop staff wielding heroine, patrols in karate kick mode through the heavens. Her mission: cosmic combat to promote good beer. Dry hopped with Galaxy hops, a clean malt backbone enhances the dank and luscious IPA flavors.
A bigger more robust version of our original coffee stout. This beer is sure to wake you up. With a strong aroma, and bold coffee flavor, this Imperial Coffee Stout is rich in body, finishing delicately leaving a nice creamy mouth feel.
Serious hop bitterness, along with an unyielding grapefruit bouquet from the Amarillo dry hop, balances the malty richness of four varieties of imported Belgian caramel malts. Pours a spectacular crimson with a creamy tan head. A generous addition of rye malt accentuates a spicy, crisp finish.
Tangerine zest carries throughout, accented by bright, floral, tropical flavors and a juicy finish. Brewed with American malts and a blend of Citra and Cascade hops, this is a beautiful brew to behold.
What the rest of the world calls an IPA, San Diego locals consider pale in comparison. Aurora Hoppyalis is our San Diego-style IPA brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Robust flavors and aromas of tropical fruit, pine, and tangerine linger through a dry, crisp finish.
A medium-bodied, malt-accented dark brew, deep-sepia in color, with a chewy texture and a firm, creamy, long-lasting head. Despite its dark color, its a soft and elegant brew that is rich, mild, and surprisingly balanced.
MASTER DISTILLER NOTES
“Maw Maw’s batch was named for my Great Grandmother who played an important role in my dad’s life. The aroma for this batch is rich with hints of vanilla and toasted nuts, and the taste is well balanced with a warmth which moves to a clean, long finish.”

After a long wait in April of 2010, our first two barrels of premium bourbon were bottled, and it was immediatly an AWARD WINNER! In May 2010 Colorado Gold Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a Single Barrel Whiskey, was awarded a Fourth Place by the American Distilling Institute in a blind whiskey tasting event held in Kentucky. This was an outstanding accomplishment for the then three year old Colorado Gold Distillery to be in the top Four Straight Bourbon Whiskey Producers. This has been blown out of the water in 2012 with our BEST IN CLASS finish.
Funky label yes & darn good. We like the label & how this winery is breaking the rules. Full of cherry & plum notes with hints of spice. Ya might want to grab a few for your roasted salmon with salsa verde.
With fruit sourced from our San Ardo Ranch (just north ofPaso Robles, CA) this Zinfandel (75%) was blended with Petite Sirah (25%) for color. Planted on the highest peak, these chalky soils produce fruit of intense flavors and unique mineral qualities. Fermented in Stainless Steel and aged 11 months in Oak Cooperage.
