Our American Pale Ale is golden in color, mildly bitter, and characterized by floral/citrus-like aromatics which are the result of an additional dry hopping with a very large amount of Cascade Hops. Crisp, crystal clear, and completely enjoyable.
When it’s spring in the Rockies, one day can span all four seasons. Morning snow gives way to afternoon sun, sending fresh snowmelt into our rivers and into our mash tun. With a complex malt backbone dry-hopped for notes of citrus and pine, it’s almost as surprising as the season itself.
Lovely, Dark and Deep pours deep black with a tan, creamy mousse-like head. Aromas of roasted malt and coffee with cream, coupled with subtle notes of chocolate and dark fruit from Ommegang’s house yeast prevail. Flavors of rich chocolate milk, and coffee and cream are impeccably balanced with restrained sweetness and hints of roastiness. The finish is silky smooth with a medium to full body.

The wine itself, is forward and fruit filled, with the aromatic whites really taking over the nose on the wine. The palate however, is a bit rounder and fuller than the last two vintages, with a bit more weight but this too is balanced out with crisp acidity (no malolactic fermentation on this wine). A perfect wine for the summer season.
Fresh and flavorsome, this 100% Chardonnay comes from the coastal vineyards. It offers fresh notes of citrus, ripe apple and white flowers. Aging in barrels brings out key toasty notes and aromas of hazelnut. Overall it is a well-balanced wine, fresh and mineral.

The 2014 Padstal Chardonnay has a withdrawn honeysuckle and white-flower-scented bouquet that needs coaxing from the glass. The palate is well balanced with tropical notes on the entry: passion fruit, pineapple and hints of shaved ginger towards the finish. This is a perfectly satisfying drop of Chardonnay.
