Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and Sumatra and Kona coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.
Lil’ Raspy is a little sensitive. He’s low ABV, got a soft, white, fluffy cap and the raspberry puree he’s brewed with gives him a pinkish hue. And that makes people think he isn’t tough. But he’s a prickly sucker… definitely one of the most sour beers the Mad Scientists have released in recent memory.
Apples and bourbon. Crispness and smoke. We took hard cider made from perfect Pacific Northwest organic apples and spiked it with a healthy measure of our proprietary barrel-proof bourbon flavor. Someone called it “beguiling,” but there’s nothing nuanced about this cider—it’s intense, alive and totally memorable.
This ale is made in the Belgian tradition with Noble hops and our Belgian yeast giving this blonde golden colored ale a wonderfully complex spicy clove like aroma and subtle dried apricot, and biscuit like flavor. This beer is a wonderful entry level Belgian beer for anyone unsure of Belgian styles.
