Avondale Brewing  ·  Birmingham, AL
A strong and pale Trappist ale with spicy-fruity notes and highly aromatic
Belgian Tripel
9.2% ABV  ·  35 IBU

Bell's Kalamazoo Stout
Bell's Brewery  ·  Kalamazoo, MI
A blend of dark chocolate and coffee flavors with just a hint of brewer's licorice. One of our oldest recipes, it balances a significant hop presence against the roast malt body.
Food Pairings: A more intense, roasty version of a porter, the roast in Kalamazoo Stout can be a nice counterpoint to rich or sweet foods. It can also create resonance with intense, caramelized meats, rich stews, sweet barbecue or nutty desserts. A gimme with smoked salmon or oysters on the half shell and nice with steamed lobster. Try it with corned beef as well. For dessert, try with chocolate souffle, baklava or mocha mascarpone mousse. Pairs well with cheeses like aged Gouda, Parmesan, cheddar, French brie (for a nice contrast), Holland smoked Gouda, MouCou ColoRouge, Trader Joe’s goat milk brie or Trader Joe’s Huntsman.
American Stout

Lagunitas Brown Shugga
Lagunitas Brewing Company  ·  Petaluma, CA
An aborted batch of their Old Gnarleywine ended up tasting nearly as good as that they were hoping for, so they bottled it. God bless capitalism.

Sonoma Cider The Pulley - Absinthe Style Cider
Sonoma Cider  ·  Healdsburg, CA
Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder…of this surprising hard apple cider with a hint of anise. It’s not obvious that tart, crisp cider would pair with the black licorice flavor of Absinthe, at least not until you try it, and then it makes perfect sense. As one of our Limited Run ciders, The Pulley will be absent before you know it.
