Falls City Brewing Co. was formed in Louisville, Kentucky in 1905 when local tavern and grocery store owners began their own brewing operations as a way to break a local monopoly on beer production. After decades as a value brand, Falls City closed in 1978. The brand was reborn as a craft beer in 2010. Today, Falls City Pale Ale, Hipster Repellant IPA, Kentucky Common and a full family of seasonals are available in bottles and on taps in stores and bars around the region.
