Join Holy Spokes and Low Country Craft for a tour of some of Charleston's best beer spots. The fun begins at 2pm at 4 great spots, Closed For Business, Mellow Mushroom King St, The Griffon and Craftsman. Start at any of these locations to begin your tour of all four. At each of these location you will be greeted by a representative from Holy Spokes along with beer specials featuring the beers from Low Country Craft. At 4:30pm the tour concludes for an after party at Kudu where we will feature the beers from Dreamchasers and Charles Towne Fermentory! At Kudu we will also have two great food pop ups that will go at it in an Iron Chef Challenge!

CBR runs to The Griffon

This Thursday we're running to The Griffon! This local dive serves up the perfect post-run beer and some of the tastiest fish and chips in the city! The walls appear to be made of money, and if you look close enough, you'll find an early CBR tag...a $1 with our logo drawn on it! Along with a crafty beer selection, our friends at the Griffon will be hooking us up with some CBR specials. So make sure you join our FB event for updates! Our Route: From the gazebo we'll take a left and run around the park. Right on Ashley, left on Broad, left on Church, right on Queen (cross East Bay and Queen turns into Vendue) and the bar will be on our left! (~3.7 mi) http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/627983230/ Want a slightly shorter route? Take a right and run around to park to Ashley. (~2.8 mi) Water Fountains: Hampton Park: gazebo (start) & lake Allan Park (mile 1.25), in front of the fountain Cannon Park (mile 2.25), on the left under the trees Moultrie Playground (mile 2.6), on the right, next to the bathrooms Colonial Lake (mile 2.8), corner of Broad and Ashley. Remember to bring your ID and some money for the bar! It's getting dark out there, so please wear something bright and reflective! Flashing lights are a great and easy way to be seen by traffic.
