McGovern's Oatmeal Stout is a very smooth, dark, full-bodied stout with soft chocolate, coffee and caramel flavors, and a roasted malt character for moderate bitterness. The oatmeal in our stout creates a milky, caramel colored head with small, tight, foamy bubbles that slowly cascade into the dark, aromatic liquid. McGovern's Oatmeal Stout has all the same characteristics of any stout, but the oatmeal gives this beer a rich, creamy more rounded quality.
Food Pairing: pairs well with seafood, steak, and is especially delicious as a Stout Float with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
