Belltown Bellfounder Pumpkin Porter

This wonderfully flavorful porter is a collaboration beer we did with Crucible Brewing in Everett, WA. We added more than 40 lbs of pumpkin pulp to the mash and spiced it with cinnamon, ginger, and allspice to give the beer a delicious pumpkin pie flavor. The rich malt base of this beer is accentuated with the addition of lactose to sweeten it up a bit and add a touch of creaminess to the final product, just like a dollop of whipped cream on top of your pie. Enjoy in a float or with your favorite dessert.
