Belltown Bellfounder Pumpkin Porter

This wonderfully flavorful porter is a collaboration beer we did with Crucible Brewing in Everett, WA. We added more than 40 lbs of pumpkin pulp to the mash and spiced it with cinnamon, ginger, and allspice to give the beer a delicious pumpkin pie flavor. The rich malt base of this beer is accentuated with the addition of lactose to sweeten it up a bit and add a touch of creaminess to the final product, just like a dollop of whipped cream on top of your pie. Enjoy in a float or with your favorite dessert.
Belltown Bertha's Big Break

Big, Bold, and Assertive on all fronts, this Vermont-style double IPA is named after Bertha, the world’s largest boring machine that bored a tunnel right under Belltown. Hopped with Columbus, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo and double dry hopped, this monster packs a hop wallop. I will let you decide if the term “big break” refers to Bertha’s breakthrough or breakdown but let the bitterness of this beer be your guide. Hazy with a smooth alcohol finish, this beauty is for the hops heads among us.

Belltown Big Red is an Imperial Red Ale that doesn’t back down. You have to be tough to live in Belltown, and this beer isn’t for the faint of heart. Big, bold malt body full of caramel and munich malts accented by a healthy dose of rye to stand up to an assertive hop presence. Simcoe and Citra throughout this brew make for a 1-2 punch of pine and citrus. And at 8.6%, this beer can knock you down. Brewed for our 1st Anniversary. We hope you enjoy.

Second gear of our “Bikes and Beer” series, this beautiful, black beer does not drink at all like you would expect judging by its appearance. I use debittered black malts to give it its color, while hopping and dry hopping it quite aggressively to bring forward a nice burst of piney and citrus hop aroma and flavor. Close your eyes and you might think you are drinking a Northwest IPA. So pedal down to fill a pint of this true Northwest style but make sure to roll up your pant leg or else you may be the next victim of Chain Bite!

Our rotating saison is a farmhouse style that calls back to our brewer’s days growing up on a farm in rural Vermont. It has constantly rotating flavors and expression while using the same base beer. Our house blend of farmhouse yeasts yield aromatic and flavorful notes of lemon, clove, and black pepper. The versatile nature of this beer lends well to many different flavor combinations. This particular saison is brewed with the additions of juniper berries, ginger, galangal root, corriander, and cardamom.

This beer was inspired by the changing colors of the leaves around us. It is burnt orange in color with a beautiful white head. This malt forward creation is brewed with heavy doses of Munich and Rye Malts which give it a nice breadiness and spice character. It is 7% ABV to provide a touch of warmth as the weather gets colder, and is perfectly paired with a Fall day in the Pacific Northwest.
