The brewer wanted to see if he could craft a 'German IPA' (a non-style) by strictly using malt, hops and yeast of German origin. Pilsner, Munich, and Wheat malts provide the base, while Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon hops punch up the bitterness, flavor, and aroma. Finally, our Octoberfest/Marzen-style yeast strain brings it all together. Prost!
